Utah Insurance Licensing Procedures
- Pass a Utah Insurance test with Prometric
- Keep the emailed copy of your test score and be prepared to show it to Prometric when you are fingerprinted
- Apply for a license through Sircon @ www.sircon.com
- Choose:
- Apply for a license
- New insurance license (Resident – Individual)
- Be prepared to give information about the last 5 years related to where you lived and worked
- Pay the insurance department for the FBI/BCI background check and license fee ($100+)
- Keep the emailed receipt for these fees and show receipts to Prometric at the time of fingerprinting
- Choose:
- Make an appointment with Prometric for fingerprinting
- Follow the instruction on the FINGERPRINT APPOINTMENT page to make an appointment
- Pick a date and time and pay the $6 fee (fingerprinting takes 15-30 minutes)
- Things to bring to your fingerprint appointment:
- Email showing passing test score
- Receipt showing fees paid to Sircon
- Driver’s license or other government photo ID
